EuroNanoForum 2011: call for presentations and posters
the EuroNanoForum is a biannual event of the European Commission hosted within the framework of the Presidency of the European Union since 2003. EuroNanoForum 2011 (ENF 2011) will be the fifth event in this series featured as a prominent event of the Hungarian Presidency on 30 May – 1 June 2011 in Budapest. Applications for presentations and posters are welcome until 31 January 2011. - ! The deadline to submit a proposal for a presentation has been extended to Monday 7th February to enable more of you to submit !
Abstracts are expected to specify potential contributions to solving Grand Challenges, i.e. global warming, tightening supplies of energy, water and food, ageing societies, public health, pandemics and security with the overarching challenge of turning Europe into an eco-efficient economy, with nanotechnology.
EuroNanoForum 2011 contributions may address scientific, industrial and/or societal aspects:
- Science and technology, highlighting world-class research
- Innovation and business, identifying nanotechnology opportunities and barriers throughout the value chain
- Society, taking a holistic approach to address societal benefits and risks
