Spring school on scattering methods
The 43rd IFF Spring School 2012 on "Scattering Methods for Condensed Matter Research: Towards Novel Applications at Future Sources" will take place from March 5 to 16, 2012 in Jülich (Germany). Deadline for applications: December 09, 2011
This two-week course with about 45 hours of lectures for students and young scientists will cover aspects such as:
• Neutron and X-ray scattering
• European Spallation Source
• X-ray Free Electron Laser
• Structure of Crystals and Complex Fluids
• Collective Excitations
• Dynamics of Disordered Systems and Large Molecules
• Applications in Nanostructures, Life Sciences, Energy Materials
