A new European Initiative in Nanotechnology: "NANOfutures"

The European Commission, the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, the Government of Principality of Asturias, the NANOfutures association and PRODINTEC announce the Official Launching of the European Initiative “NANOfutures”: European Technology Integration and Innovation Platform (ETIP) in Nanotechnology on 15-16th June 2010 in Gijón (Asturias)

 The European Technology Integration and Innovation Platform (ETIP) in Nanotechnology NANOfutures is a second generation cross ETP platform created with the support of the European MINAM Micro- and Nano Manufacturing Community and several other related ETPs. It will address challenges and opportunities as offered by these technologies to a broad range of Industry, SMEs, NGOs, financial institution, research institutions, and civil society.

Participants will have the opportunity to extend their knowledge on nanotechnology and also establish new collaborations with companies and RTD organisations working in the field, with a view to creating business opportunities, new niche markets and finding new customers.
