Professor Luisa De Cola won the IUPAC-ACS Distinguished Women in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering award
The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) choose Professor Luisa De Cola, ONE-P partner from the University of Münster, Germany, to be one of the most distinguished women in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering. At the IUPAC World Chemistry Congress in Puerto Rico on August 2, 2011 the award presentation to the altogether 24 Distinguished Women in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering will take place.
Her research interests are luminescent and electroluminescent materials for optical and electroluminescent devices and nanomaterials for imaging and diagnostics. In the ONE-P project she is involved in WP3 Light emission to develop a new generation of light emitters for organic light emitting diode architectures.
