Towards a Green Electronics in Europe
The Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) for the Organic & Large Area Electronics (OLAE) has been published on the OPERA website on September 18, 2009. It is a joint effort of a large number of European stakeholders, from industry, research institutes and the academia.
The 69 page document is now available and downloadable
(
pdf - 4.028 Ko) on the OPERA website. After an introduction
to highlight the importance of the field five topics
are presented in more details: (i) Lighting, (ii) Organic
Photovoltaics, (iii) Displays, (iv) Electronics and (v) Integrated
Smart Systems. Finally some recommendations are proposed such as the
establishment of pilot production centres, the coordination through
a plateform and the increase of funding budget for OLAE
fields.
