Review on Paolo Samori (UdS) and Franco Cacialli (UCL) 's book

Paolo and Franco recently edited the book "Functional Supramolecular Architectures for Organic Electronics and Nanotechnology", with the participation of numerous ONE-P partners. Materials Views has interviewed them and published a review on the book.

As presented in the review by Maurizio Prato, this book unravels the property versus structure relationship in multifunctional supramolecular materials thereby laying the foundation towards a real supramolecular technology.

"What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever discovered?
Playing with molecules: if I instruct them well, they listen to me! … and not only one at a time!" For more see the interview of Paolo Samori

"What do you think are the greatest challenges facing scientists at the moment?
Providing enough energy and clean water for the globe. Interestingly, organic and supramolecular semiconductors are being intensively investigated as active materials in cheap, large-area solar cells, as described in part 7, chapters 25 to 28 of our book." For more see the  interview of Franco Cacialli
