The organic electronics group at Merck is part of the Chemicals R&D Division. The organic electronics group is part of the Chemicals R&D Division of Merck. It is a multidisciplinary research group, with expertise in molecular design, organic synthesis and scale-up, purification, flat panel display technology, organic transistor fabrication and characterization.

Merck has developed amongst the best performing p-type semiconductors that will be made available for the project.
